It was a great opportunity to work as a Backstage Intern at London Fashion Week. I got to interact with people in the fashion industry from multiple countries and cultures. I would like to thank my college and team fashion incubator for providing me this opportunity. The mentors - Anushka and Mehr were always there to guide and support. Overall it was a great trip with an overwhelming experience.

This was my first time ever traveling alone. The sense of freedom was paralleled by a sense of security provided by the Fashion Incubator team. It was great to be involved firsthand at NYFW shows. It was not just a formality but you really got duties that you are supposed to commit to and overall it was an eventful and learning experience. Can’t wait to travel to London and Paris with them in the future.

There is no more great opportunity than volunteering for fashion week in NYC. I could learn all the runway processes at the shows, networking and making connections. Thank you to team FII so much for this great opportunity!

You learn things, you gain self-confidence/self esteem, you interact and EXPLORE. The designers, organisers and the rest of the team of Fashion Incubator were all so sweet and super generous. Every show at Paris Fashion Week had an unexpected positive impact on me, professionally. And the experience was so overwhelming, it helped me grow in so many ways. I’d love to go to London Fashion Week next and experience it all over AGAIN.

Interning at NYFW'20 was an experience that I will never forget, it was well organised and there was not a single moment where I thought I was missing out on anything. Just being out in the city was truly mesmerizing in itself. Overall it was full of fun and new experiences, even while working for hours it felt good to do so as there was so much to learn from there and take back with you, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I truly had an amazing time being there and learning new things!

It had always been one of my dreams to attend the NYFW and FII made it happen. They helped me broaden my horizon of the fashion world and gave one hell of an experience in the fashion capital. Would totally travel with this team again.

I still can’t believe that just this past year, I was in NYC for Fashion Week. It’s been a dream of mine to work at NYFW ever since I first learned about it as a little girl, and I still have to pinch myself when I realize I made that dream come true (and at age 21!). New York Fashion Week left me with so many memories, and I can’t be more thankful to the Fashion Incubator team for making it happen. It really goes to show that you can achieve any dream if you put your mind and heart to it.
